When reading books and watching dvds (in the magic category) have purpose in what you want to accomplish.
I just watched Lennart Green's DVD set disc one with zero purpose and learned nothing.
I just watched Ellusionist's Ambitious card routine dvd to see "what I missed from 2000 (or whenever I first saw it)".
End result from Ellusionist's session? Learning and expanding.
Lennart Green's session? Wasted time.. because I had no purpose and spend too much time looking at my hands.
Next stop "Action Palms and transfers" from Lennart Green's dvd set.
