Hey guys my name is Andrew and I have been doing magic for about 6 years. I know of a lot of magicians in the San Jose area, but I am looking for some closer to where I live in Dublin Ca. I am looking to start a weekly meet up type of thing. If you live nearby let me know!!

To be honest with you, it will be far easier for you to go to the groups. I know it's a pain but that's how life is at times. Nonetheless, you could go to the IBM web site and do a search for rings in your area (just shoot them an eMail if you can't find a search engine or listing); I'm betting however that you'll have to do some driving.
Look up magicians in the phone directory, who live in the region, Chuck Magnosa is a good start and I believe there's still a magic shop in San Jose that could give you some help if not, well there's that added 45(ish) minute ride north and west (from San Jose) -- the Bay Area is more than ripe when it comes to magicians and magic resources. I'd start with the guys at Misdirections if you end up heading that far.

I am a member of IBM ring 216 in San Jose and the OMC in Oakland....I also used to go to the Magic garage a lot. I am just looking to not have to drive 45 minutes. Gas is killing me as my work commute is also 45 minutes lol
