Messado Rings, how to preserve the finish?

So I have had a lot of powder coated metal doodads over the years and I know how little it takes to chip and flake the stuff off. Why anyone would do linking rings in black powder coat is beyond me. Anyone had any experience with Joshua's rings? Any way to keep them from turning into silver flecked eye-sores in no time flat?

honestly, any coated ring set has the downside of chipping. Depends how often you use them and how gentle you are with them. I sell black coated rings myself on my website and have only had 1 complaint of chipping ao far. Turns out the person who purchased them was being a bit too rough with them and as a result had chipped the key ring.

My suggestion is to be very gentle when performing crash link moves and what not (i know this s ihard to do when performing messado moves lol.) I personallu use silver for this exact reason. Even if they do chip a little, you cannot tell because the rings are the same color as the silver wrap or coat.
