My New Trick

I made up a small little trick a few weeks ago and thought I would put it up to get some feedback. The trick is a visual card through box penetration. I know this effect has been done before but I am pretty sure the method is new. Here is the link..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQR1zLtJQEI

The effect itself was good, in my opinion. However, I think that you should refilm it during the daytime just so that everything can be seen better.

Overall, I thought it looked good.

I'm not sure of your method, so I can't comment. However I can point you to a trick where the effect is used very, very well. Worth looking at if you haven't already.

'Box Spring' by Greg Wilson. 4 Aces penetrate the box one after another visually. I think its on the Card Stunts DVD. Essentially its the same effect as yours, but routined into 4 phases, each one getting more and more impossible.

I suspect your method may be extremely similar to Greg's, since your handling looks the similar.

Good job, but that method is very old if your doing what I'm pretty sure you're doing.

You cant call something visual when it seems like all you're doing is dropping a card.
