Hello everyone, I'm new to this site and I'm enjoying what I see. I have admired card tricks for many years now and I stopped several years ago and currently getting back into the flow after seeing a certain card trick, so I got use to my old tricks again and some. I would consider myself still between a beginner /intermediate skilled personally. Enough about me

Now as for the trick i was hanging out with a couple friends and a guy comes up pulls out a red deck and has my friend pick a card. He had him sign the front of the card which I recall it having a red back and then he was asked to place it anywhere back in the deck. After he shuffled he had fanned the cards out face up and there was a blue card faced down. When we picked up the card it was his signed card.

Now some how that card trick alone brought back everything I loved about magic and got me back into it and I have been looking everywhere for this trick. If anyone can tell me the name of the trick or where I can purchase this trick it will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

hum...A variation perhaps. You can't sign the card in Chicago opener.

And shadow's description doesn't involve so many steps. Reminds me of 'Blindsided' by Oz Pearlman. Check it out ;)

i thought that also were he would keep the blue card accatched to the other some how but i clearly remember feeling the card making sure no card was attatched and there wasnt.
