I was playing around with the S.W.E Shift and was experiencing some issues with the move. I wanted to use it while I was sitting at the table and I wanted the cover action to be the placement of the deck onto the table. This was extremely difficult with the Shift and I couldn't find an angle that worked consistently enough.

So after tweaking the move a bit, I came up with a fairly simple solution. The new shift is almost an S.W.E Shift done backwards. It shifts the flashing points of the original technique from the top of the deck to the bottom half; opening up a much larger amount of possible angles. It also makes cover actions significantly easier.

My question is, have any of you heard of a similar concept? A backwards S.W.E Shift?

I'd hesitate to think anything is new. Particularly when it's based on an existing move.

I would advice you make a video and send a link to it to folks like Jason England or Aaron Fisher.
