Mechanical cards that do things are not new to magic although I personally have not seen your variation of the king and his crown. Nice...
It would better suit with a story line of a king finding the right queen or something and then he tips his hat. I don't know. Obviously you cannot just walk up to people and say, "Hey, Watch this King". I'm sure you know that though.

Also..spectators are going to want to grab at that card or inspect it so have a duplicate king ready to hand out. Just food for thought.

ive performed this in the street and i just force a normal king and then switch it for the gimmick,do the effect and then switch it back and have the spectator examine it and sometimes keep it because i have a whole deck of pure kings,but thanks for the advice

Rick's right, the plot basic idea isnt new but i like your variation. If you come up with some good patter and maybe even turn into a full routine, it could be really great. You could really work with rick's idea of the king finding the queens. Maybe some sort of Modified ACR with some card vanishes (the wrong queens) culminating with the king tipping his crown when he finds the right one. Keep playing with it.
