Here are just a few pictures from our IBM ring's convention "The Battle of Magicians" in Canton, OH. The line up was outstanding. I met a bunch of new friends and had a blast as usual. With Magifest no longer around I look for this Ohio convention to grow tremendously in the future. We has just over 200 registrants this year.
Kerry Pollock - VERY funny and he is the inventor of the Media Star. He is also a great entertainer and M.C.
John Carney - Great Technique lecture and amazing to watch perform as Mysto
Eric Buss - Very creative and outgoing, awesome lecture and shared his experience with his snake can orchestra as
seen on TV
Jeff Bibik - Very funny and a great M.C. but not very organized and lecture was honestly one of the worst I've seen
Geoff Williams - WoW! This guy blew me away. Insane and very creative. I need some of his DVDs.
Joshua Jay - Always a pleasure to see Josh and watch him lecture
Kozmo and Garrett Thomas were there at dealer booths as were 5 other shops. Hung out and talked to them a bit.

There was a stage contest and close up contest placing the top 3 in each with prize money. There are lectures every day and evening as well as dealer booths to buy from. We have a big headliner show at the local palace theater which your ticket is included in the price of your registration.
If anyone is local or around Ohio, definitely check this out next year.
