Hey there! I've noticed that lots of people are getting Pinterest accounts in the magic community. Ellusionist, Paul Draper and Peter Mckinnon all have pages for example.
If you don't know what Pinterest is I'll explain, it is a social media website similar to Facebook with basically only pictures and video, most of which are linked to a blog or website. So if Ellusionist posts some pictures of their cards someone on Pinterest could "re-pin" that picture onto their personal page or "board". This picture of course if clicked on could take you right to Ellusionist and you could buy the deck of cards there.
It can be a pretty interactive marketing tool. I know it's not for everyone but I really like it (Along with magic I post a lot of Disney trivia a lot). Until now I just figured it was a place to get inspiration and gather thoughts. A friend of mine helped write a free ebook as a way to get people interested in her internet marketing website that has given me new insight.
I personally don't get any gain from recommending the book and couldn't care less if you like the website but the ebook its self is really interesting and gives some good insights into the world of Pinterest and marketing that I think lots of us could benefit from.

While we're at it does anyone else have a Pinterest page? Would anyone want to start a magic group board?
