wow, how did control the card ? you talk about the little cut at 1.48 maybe you did something there , if not, it's really impressive
Thanks guys. That edit was seriously because the server came up and interrupted the performance. You can hear my irritation as I resume the trick. I wanted to get this all in one nice take, especially because the effects starts from an unopened deck of sentinels and I don't have any more of those lying around right now. Bummer...maybe someday I will get a chance to try this again?

The idea of doing it from a thought of card is great. I have an idea about the method but it doesn't really matter - it was well executed. The only comment I really have is about your presentation. Some of it made sense, some of it didn't. Put your energy into it? I get what you're trying to do - and it's a clever way to set up the desk tap - but it really came out of left field, and your spectator was obviously taken aback by your instruction. And going back towards the start of the video, it seems like you didn't think about what you were going to say, apart from a few words tossed out there for the heck of it - like "mind mysteries" - that don't really make sense, which suggests that you have an idea of what you want to do (and I think there are some nice parts to that), but haven't really followed through with it. Develop the patter. How you speak actually sounds good, but you don't seem to know what you're going to say.
Awsome critique Prea. I totally know what you mean. Admittedly this was done to try out the "method" and I performed it for some friends. Now that I know the method is valid I will start developing the patter more. I will definitely take some of your suggestions. Another problem is I live in Korea and don't have many oppertunities to perform for English speakers. Therefore my patter is sorely lacking. lol. Add to that the "mentalist" angle I am going for in this effect and my work is cut out for me. Again thanks for the critique and the tips.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I'm in the US at the moment, but I'm here on exchange from Australia, so a large group of my friends are from France, Italy, Spain and other such countries with a reasonable but not excellent grasp of english, so I have to be extra careful about what I say (idioms, technical words and 'Aussie' slang in particular) - and I haven't been game enough to try a psych force yet. Unfortunately(?), with mentalism, the words are even more important than the rest of the magical realm...
