Planting Cards

I was listening to a Theory 11 podcast the other day and with I believe Calen Morelli and he was talking about consulting for David Blaine. And he talked about how much they would steal from people or plant things on people for David's tricks. I was wondering if anyone here does things along those lines.
In my head it would be easy to plant a card on someone and then use that for an effect shortly after.

I've done it before. Cards are especially easy to plant on people, and watches are probably the easiest thing to steal from people.
