Ring Flight

I have Gregory Wilson's Ring Leader DVD and have got the the routine pretty much down. The routine is fine as it is but my only conflict is that I do not know whether or not I should buy a ring flight device to use as an ending for the routine. I've heard that it is a risk to use reels because there's a chance the clip may damage the ring by scratching it, parts of the ring may fall off, the ring may fall off the clip or the reel could break etc. So basically I would like to know if it is worth it to take the chance with this and get it or just simply perform Gregory Wilson's ring and string routine by it self. Thanks for your help!

Hm...
I would suggest you buy Interlaced by Richard Sanders.
It seems more magical and reasonable (although I dont know why) that it goes on your body rather than just some random wallet thing.
And if you do, your presentation needs to flow really well and have a good momentum or it just looks like youre going from one trick to another.
I have quite an old ring flight and...
1. it hasnt scratched any rings yet. or damaged any for that matter.
2. It wont fall off the clip no matter what. unless you go rip open the clip.
3. All string like things have a chance of breaking. Usually its fishing line, so I would say it would last quite long.

Ring flights are worth money. They are easy and quite effective.
But for ring leader... i dunno...

I don't think that interlaced would be the best choice for me if I were to buy a ring flight. First of all, I do not think that the way it is gimmicked that it would be very practical for me and I do not wear those sort of shoes. If I did buy a ring flight, it would have to be something like Departure or Rinkey dinkey, because it has to utilize a reel to fit in with the ring and rope routine, and also I don't think a key wallet would look normal. Even though you have yet to have any experiences with a damaged ring or something like that, it is possible, and even if it happens once I would have to get it repaired and it could have sentimental value to the person also. Yes it is possible for a ring to fall off the clip...it has happened to people.
