Hey Pete

Fun performance and most importantly it sounds like your audience was having a good time. I am a little concerned that you are going to get called out once again for labeling this the best rope routine, I'd suggest 'favorite rope routine' would be more accurate. I enjoyed this much more than your last video and it is always nice to see magic preformed live.

Was this a paid performance or just for fun? Either way I suggest working on your wardrobe a bit as an easy way to come across as a bit more professional. Even tucking in your shirt would help this cause, which may sound almost superficial but I think most will agree that it makes a difference in how you are perceived right from the start.

It is obvious that you were having fun and the people you were preforming for were having fun so congrats on that. Is it ready for prime-time? no not really but the more you preform it to live groups the quicker you will get to that level.

Thank you very much for your observations and feedback Colin, I really appreciate your advice and suggestions!
I don't think I'm going to get called out though since I clearly stated that this is only my opinion. That is the other way of saying my favorite.
Yes, this video is part of my one hour performance, which is paid. I agree with you completely on my appearance, I will take your advice to heart.
Also, I LOVE performing for people, I actually perform everywhere I go and every chance I get. Thank you for your support!

Although it was a bit long for me, I actually enjoyed this performance... and I usually hate rope routines :). You're very skilled (especially compared to me, who does zero rope tricks), and most of all I could tell you enjoyed what you were doing, as did your audience.

Thank you very much Rob for your feedback! I'm glad you are able to see my passion that I have for magic!

Pete, your rope work looks great. I'm assuming much of your routine comes from Fiber Optics which is outstanding. Your audience LOVED your routine. If this were just for young kids though, which it wasn't, I would cut the routine down a bit to just about 2-3 minutes of moves or young children will get restless. Well done Pete and thanks for sharing. I love watching your videos where you are performing for groups of people because we get to see the reactions happening. Awesome job and keep it up.

Thank you very much Rick, I'm so happy to hear from you. The majority of my videos are LIVE performances because I truly feel they are very fun and entertaining to watch as well as provide motivation for beginner magicians to go out and perform. I will definitely continue sharing my videos and hopefully one day be able to inspire someone, thank you for your support Rick!
Yes, the rope routine before the comedy rope escape is from Richard Sander's Fiber Optics DVD, which is definitely in the top three of my most favorite magic DVDs of all time.
That is a good idea to cut down the routine when performing for kids, I will keep that in mind.
Have a great day!
