Hey guys.

I was watching DG Projects and I notice he was using a marker that is silver in colour but doesnt have any logo. Anyone Know what it is? I think Calen uses it too in F{9}.

they cost like 7 bucks, a refill is like 3. They look classy, they are resilient and just nice to use. I use it in my coin routine, stretching the silver dollar into a silver sharpie. Check walmart, staples, target. They pretty much all sell them now

In the long run, the Sherpa seems nicer. For those that want to see mathematical proof:

With a metal silver sharpie: $7 + (x)(y), or $7 + (3)(x) where x is the amount of sharpies you'll ever use (substitute $3 for y).

With a sherpa: $30 + (x)(y), where x is the amount of sharpies you'll ever use and y's the cost of each sharpie (although this formula doesn't account for how you're buying the sharpies - I've seen 1/$1 and 12/$8.49)

Although my math may be flawed on this, the sherpa will save you more in the long run. That, and it's a lot easier to find sharpies than it is to find the silver sharpie refills around here.

I tried these formulas to account for 25 sharpies, and here's the simple math. With a sherpa, it costs ~$48.69. With the silver sharpies that require refills, it's $82.

Although I don't know how many refills come in the pack for $3, but it seems like it's 1. I don't see why anyone would pay $3 for that...

I picked up a Stainless Steel Sharpie today at Staples. It was $6.99 for the pen and $1.99 for a refill. So for 25 pens it would be $56 (the pen comes with one marker) vs. $49 to $55 (assuming $1 per Sharpie) for the Sherpa.

It's pretty nice pen for the price.

Now, don't get me wrong, the Sherpa is much nicer. If you are interested in a Sherpa, check out Card Shark's site for more Sherpas: http://www.card-shark.de/index.cfm?page=21&lang=en&shop=true&Category=9

It also depends on how often you refill them. I usually have mine in my jacket pocket so it gets used frequently, and I've had it close to a year without refilling it.
