Hey Stephen, great question. This deck turned out incredible. While the core playing card artwork builds on our previous editions, we’ve intentionally aged the deck and layered in elements inspired by the Upside Down to give it a darker, more immersive feel.
To answer your question, where the Blue Edition from the box set included blue holographic foil on the card backs, this version uses a combination of silver and blue metallic Pantone inks (+ CMYK), with each card carrying its own uniquely worn or aged character. There’s also a subtle hidden element woven into the design that we’re leaving as a mystery for fans to discover on their own. Here's a recent photo of the card back to reference.
