Whats the difference between these two theories in magic, to me they seem exactly the same. Thanks in advance guys.

Suspension and Levitation

a suspension involves at least one point of contact to the ground - i.e. the broom suspension or chair suspension.. a levitation has no apparent point of contact to the ground
