Taking cards on flights?

So I'm from the UK and i flew out to New York a few days back. Some of the decks that i brought out with me were in sealed, as in open, and now have a very bad case of deck click. I just brought a couple of decks and I'm wondering what the suggestions are for trying to avoid this again? Keep them sealed? Put them in with the luggage or hold? Also any tips on how to get rid off/avoid deck click is appreciated. Seen alot of rumours and conflicting threads on what to do and what not to do.
Thanks in advance!

The click is from a change in humidity and temperature. The outside of the cards absorb/ lose humidity faster than the inside of the cards.

Often, just spreading the deck around on a table for a night is enough for the clock bend to disappear.

Air them out for a bit. If they're still clicking, shuffle them face up into face down, put them in the tuck case, and put the whole thing in a card clip (or in between a few heavy books if you don't have one).
