One type of cardclip I would like to see, is one where you can use your cards without removing the box from the clip. With E's cardclip, for me it's really no point in using except if I want to keep my playing cards straight. It's too much work inserting and removing the deck, in addition find a place to store the clip while I'm using the deck. And it doesn't protect the card-box either, as it sits on so tight that the card-box gets ugly scratches (really big ones too) as it is inserted and removed from the clip again and again. Therefore, I see it more as a card weight than a card guard - it's nice to "wrap" around the deck at night when the cards are resting.
For these reasons, I would really like to see a card case made of metal that was solid and simple, but not a clip. I want something to protect my card-box that can stay on at all times, and would let me use my cards without removing the case/clip. This should be plausible, don't you think?
