What do you think?

Hey guys,

I posted this ih the Card Magic Forum but it didn't get attention but I really want your feedback so I will just post this here.

Please take a look at my 2 videos:
sandwich routine:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1n8zrWvJc10
2CM without a deck:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_EvE4X5cJY
Please tell me what you think and although my plot for the sandwich routine is rather stupid, I felt it at least justifies the ditch of the deck in the back pocket. Do you have any recommendations for a better presentation of this routine?
And what do you think about my approach of the 2CM without a deck? I have no idea how to justify that I reach in my back pocket to get the deck (is needed for dichting the other 2 cards.), do you?
Cheers
Philipp

The handling in both effects is suspicious.

In the first one, there is no justification for the aces going back on top of the deck. It gets more suspicious because you have to put them on the deck every time. Also, I didn't realize that you were trying to ditch the deck without the spectator's knowing. It was clear to me that only the packet was placed on the table.

In the second effect, your handling is too closed. It looks like you are hiding something. Also, your playing with the deck after you pull it out of the pocket is distracting.

My recommendation is to get the new John Bannon compilation. It does what you are trying to do, but better.

@RealityOne
Thanks for sharing your advice.
I probably will try out some sandwich loads by DM from his book "Anthology" to fix that problem.
As for the final deck vanish I will just practice the move until it doesn't look more susicious.
I do not quite agree with your statement that it looks like I am hiding something. Why should the spectator suspect anything when my hand ist just naturally. Of course in the video it does look a bit odd but with a spectator I would have one hand free and more natural motions.
