Why No Feminine Magicians?

you may have noticed that female magicians are rare.I do know that we do have some ladies on this site, but the majority are male.

ummmmmmm why?

Its not like we have something against female magicians, there is no discrimination against them that i know of, its not an extremely psychical thing to do, if anything on average females have more dexterity (this has been proved.

I have seen females on stage as performers, and as assitants.

But we are lacking coin, card, close up, street, etc etc

why?
 
I feel that girls, (especially the ones at my school) think that magic is corny, and geeky and such. Although I wish more girls did magic as they add 'certain twists' to preformances. I guess that's my 'quick two cents'.

well, why no femine mathmatician? it is a fact that woman are better in calculations because they are more precise, and woman are possibly beter magicians as they have natural misdirection working for them. the answer possibly lies to social conditioning and not their capability, there are so many female assistant or what ever running around is possibly because most magicians are male. If i was a she(ok that sounds weird), then i would pick a he as my assistant.

Another possibility is prolly due to the nature of how magic works, guys are more in to "HOW" and girls more in to "WOW". but that is something genetic.
 
I have tried to teach my girlfriend a few basic flourishes but unfortunately her hands just are not big enough to do them properly, and she is 19 so they probably won't get much bigger if any ... I think that might have a little something to do with it.
