-Weighs about 3 lbs.

-If you buy one, it won't be painted, because there are some problems with getting paint to stick to the metal. It will be sanded, and still look cool, tough.

-This is the best part- puts 3000 pounds of pressure on your cards.

From what I've seen of the card presses already on the market, they will not deliver nearly the force of this one, simple because most use wing nuts, and you simply can't put that much force just using your fingers.

However, it won't be cheap- one like the one I have will cost you $100 plus shipping. But trust me- it will be worth it.

wow thats awsome! my dads a welder he said he can help me make one XD

Cool? Good luck. You'll need a drill press, and a place to buy the aluminum from, so hope you have those two. Or you could just buy one. If you don't have a drill press or a milling machine, you really can't make one of these, and it would be cheaper just to buy one.

my dad is a welder... he works with metal... he has a drill press LOL and a company we works for to get alot of free metal like that and stuff LOL :D thanks though. can you take a picture of an above veiw? if not thats cool I dont wana bug you or anyting and how exatly dose it work? is it two bolts you tighten?

Sorry man, but I'm not going to help you rip us off. We are selling these- we know how to do it right, we've experimented with it, we know what works and what doesn't, and we've done a lot of stuff to it that you can't tell from the picture. So no, I can't. But if you were interested in buying one, yes, I would be more than happy to help you out.

What do you mean ripping us off?

And wouldn't a vice have the same effect? Not sure, just throwing stuff out there :p.

PM me and I'll give you some details. Sorry I went off like that- we just spent A LOT of time this summer working on this thing, and I think it shows. But, if you want to try to make on, I can't stop you, and I agree- it would be more fun, and cheaper that way. But to ask me for measurements, more pictures, things like that- that I don't like. But I'll shoot you a PM in a few minutes.

Oh awesome.

I didn't realize it was like a homemade thing, it looks great.

I thought you like had a job at a magic company or something :p.

Nah, that's one of our selling points. These aren't rolling off an assembly line- we're making them by hand, so that's why it might take a little bit longer for us to "fill orders"... and the fact that I'm only with my Dad on the weekends doesn't help a whole lot, either. :p

We actually considered having somebody make them for us, simply because we didn't realize how much work it was going to be, but we finally decided that we would rather do it ourselves to ensure quality.
