Magic is not about fooling people at all. It is about entertaining. Why do you do a flourish? If laymen think that you shuffle cards while springing them, I think you could get away with a Cascade.

doing sleights that are 100% angle proof helps your magic and it can help entertain/fool people so it is the best of both worlds, you can't always misdirect some one.

His dribble pass isn't special. It's the easiest pass to do and doesn't require much to make it look "invisible."

I can think of an easier pass that just looks like you're squaring up the deck. However, this isn't the point. The technique that he uses doesn't matter. Either way, it still looks good.
Oh, ok. I do think that you still took it a bit too far though. Either way, you still have a good pass IMO.
