Hey Guys,

I have found alot of helpful info on this site and I have learned alot from the posts so thanks guys! :) I have been wanting to get into walk about magic at restaurants but frankly I don't know where to start.

I know their have been multiple posts about this but I think I need some more specifics ( I am think skulled sorry lol)

So for starters I would like to know the specific names of the restaurants you guys perform in like "I perform in McDonalds" ( if you could make any money performing in Mcdonalds you are a amzing magician ,of course if you levited Ronald Macdonald... sorry that is way of track I am simply using it as a example) I just want the names of the places you perform so I know what kind of restaurants to target.

If you don't want to give the specific names ( which I understand) then if you could just tell me what to look for in a restaurant. Like what makes one restaurant better then another?

My second questions is after I have a restaurant picked out how do I approach the manager? Do I call or just go right in ? Shoud I ask to get payed by the restaurant or just go by tips? Will the waiters get angry at me taking their possible tips?

Like I said I am so sorry for my many questions I am just thick headed lol.

Alright those are the quesitons I have for starters any advice would be most appreciated.

Thanks so much,

Christian

Buy Close Up:The Real Secrets of Magic by David stone. It's 30 dollars and probably has more information about what you're asking than any one book or person could give you.

As far as which places to target, where do you like to eat?

Obviously not fast food, but any restaurant is worth the effort.

Go to single restraunt location around the area so it is easier to get intouch with owners.

Dress like your going somewhere nicer after

Make sure you have a well-balanced routines (around 2-3) just consest of coins, sponge balls, cards, bills or anything else in close up you can think of.

Have a proper introduction (never start with cards)

Make sure you have reshersd and praticed these routines untill you can fool yourself. In restraunts, you will be dealing with all types of people so prepare for the worst and hope for the best.
