Me and my partner are looking to study transmitting information via code for a mentalism act. Inspired by people like The Evasons and Morgan & West. If anyone's got any suggestions on books or DVDs that would be great!

From what I remember, 13 steps to mentalism has a whole section dedicated to different ways to transmit information to your assistant. I'm sure other people on the forums could suggest other options.
Also, if none of the codes suggested support your needs, you could always take the parts you like from them and create your own.
Dee Christopher has a simple system as well. It's probably in Deep Shadows, but I'm not 100% sure on that.
