What's up guys! I hope you all have had a fantastic weekend thus far. Father's Day is tomorrow, so we want tonight's contest to keep your dad in mind. How will you do it?

Tonight's challenge is very simple: give a short explanation (or long if you want!) on how your father inspires you (or a father figure in your life). That's it! This day is all about the fathers, so we wanted this to be very easy and to let all of you celebrate and enter without worrying about completing a challenge.

All submissions should be posted in response to THIS forum thread by no later than 11:00pm EST tomorrow, Sunday, June 15th.

What's the prize, you ask? We will select a submission at random to take home 3 decks of Monarch Summer Edition Playing Cards and 1,000 Elite Points!

Happy Father's Day to all!

My dad used to be impatient, but something shifted over the years. Maybe it was all the bike rides he started taking; long, quiet rides that gave him space to breathe and notice the world around him.

Seeing him slow down and reconnect with nature taught me that people really can change. His transformation inspires me to be more grounded, more mindful, and to believe that it’s never too late to grow into a better version of yourself.

My dad has inspired me in many different ways. He took me when I was a kid to close up magic conventions in the 90s multiple times even in a bad snowstorm drove an hour and 40 minutes to a close-up convention.
His humor and quick wits as a professional photographer has shown me how important connections can be when dealing with business and customers.
I will be forever grateful on many life lessons he has taught me.

My father inspires me through his strength and unwavering commitment to doing the right thing, even when it's hard. He doesn't talk much about values , he lives them. Whether its working long hours without complaint, helping others without expecting anything in return, or staying calm when everything feels like its falling apart. His resilience reminds me that being strong doesnt always mean being loud, and being kind doesnt make you weak. He taught me that consistency, integrity, and love can be the most powerful things a person carries. Happy father's day to all the amazing father's!!

My father has inspired me since I was a child, thanks to his dedication to his work, his patience, and the importance of punctuality. He's a person who's always there, someone I can always count on, who can help with everything, just as he can count on me.

I have had a couple of father figures throughout my life, if it is a friend's father or my home room teacher or someone else.
They all did many things to help me and be there for me instead of my actual father who was not really there for me at all.
Take for instance my home room teacher during high school. He cared for me and always wanted to know how I am doing. When Covid erupted and we were in quarantine, he would always go visit every student of his and have some laughs and talk a bit. Also, right before the pandemic -my grandmother had died and he came to the shiv'ah (condolence visit) and comforted me and stayed with me for a long time. He even came a second time! I highly appreciate him for that and so much more.

My father has inspired me to be a good, selfless, man. Ever since I was little, he always did what was necessary for his family no matter what he had to do like work multiple jobs. He always found time for his family and never missed a ball game! I always saw the love he had for my mother and When she got sick, I truly saw what love was
Always being by her side, carrying her when she needed it, getting her anything she needed, making sure she was comfortable and NEVER once complained about anything, not one thing. He inspires me everyday to be a good man for my family and I can't be thankful enough that he is my Dad and still on this earth with me going through this life.

My dad worked hard to support his family and my family as newcomers to the Country. I learned values that made me into an equally amazing father. Family is the cornerstone of my life and making time for my kids is the same that was done by my dad. He has now passed but I hope to keep making him proud !

My dad worked hard to take care of me. My family argued a lot but my dad was always there to calm me down. He pushed me forward, and I became the person I am now. I couldn't have done it without him.

My father really inspired me to become the best version of myself in my later years. He was my anchor and my lighthouse for when I strayed from the path, and I will forever be grateful for all he has done for me. Love you dad!

My father has made me who I am in so many ways. He’s taught me how to work hard and communicate with others. How to be a good listener and problem solve. His kindness has inspired me and I love the time we spend together.

My Father works super hard, always takes care of the family, and still finds time to joke around and have fun. And that inspires me how he keeps a perfect balance between family and work.

My father in law has been an amazing example of a family man. He is always looking to spend time with any and everyone. My in laws have been married for over 30 years and it’s a true inspiration for my wife and I. My wife and brothers in law always joke that I am the second favorite child (after the dog)

My dad inspires me because he survived double cancer and tough chemotherapy. It was a really tough journey for my family and him to go through and left me wondering at his hospital bed will this be the last moment I get to spend with him. It took so many doctors to correctly diagnose his cancer, then finding treatment options that would not hurt his immune system too much, and wondering how his body would recover after these tough challenges. He inspires me to keep striving forward toward my goals and career. His perseverance, patience, and kindness definitely help me to keep pushing toward my goals by enjoying the journey, not let challenges dim my light, and begin putting together my own small business. I am always grateful to spend each day with him along with Father’s Day.

I lost my father recently in 2022, and it still feels like it was yesterday, one thing I learned from my father is that a person will get unconditional love only from his parents, they will always be there for you to help love motivate you without a ounce of expected return. I learned this first hand with ppl around me when he passed away.

My father inspires me through his quiet strength and unwavering support. He shows me that resilience isn’t about being unbreakable, but about adapting with grace. With every challenge, he balances discipline with tenderness, teaching me to be both strong and compassionate. As I prepare to become a father myself very soon, I’m excited to carry forward his legacy and share the same love and guidance with my own child.
