Hey Everyone. Hope you all are doing well.
Just want to know: Which is more impressive: close-up magic or stage magic?

I think Close-up magic is often more impressive because it happens right in front of your eyes, small tricks with cards or objects feel personal and impossible to explain. Stage magic, on the other hand, is bigger and more visual, designed to amaze large audiences with grand illusions. Both are powerful in different ways depending on the setting.

What do you think? is it more amazing when a magician performs right in front of you, or when you watch a big stage show from a distance?

I was yesterday on a magicshow with 10 FISM Worldchampions... If you watch acts like Della Bona, Miguel Munoz, Piron or Morten Christiansen I dont think close up is more impressive... there where parts where it looks like real magic, also more emotions with lights etc. I have to say a few acts are on a unreal level!

Close-up magic is more impressive because there happens right in your face with no tricks of distance or lighting. Stage magic is bigger but easier to fake from far away. Close-up requires pure skill and leaves people genuinely stumped.
