Hey,

I'm a big fan of the circle fan, and have been doing for quite a while, but I'm wondering if there are any other resources other than:

here: http://www.murphysmagic.com/New-Magic-of-Japan-by-Phil-Goldstein-and-Richard-Kaufman-Book

and

here: http://www.lybrary.com/the-circle-fan-p-612.html

I own both of these and like them a lot (I think the notes were slightly more in depth, but the Kaufman book has more other stuff), but I was interested in finding it in print in other places. I know about the Charlie Frye DVDs, but was wondering about any other sources.

There is a lovely book called, The Encyclopedia of Playing Cards from THE flourish man which has a chapter DEDICATED to fanning. I even learned how to go the giant circle fan from that book!

Even though the book may SEEM costly, but is really worth so much more than a measly $70 when you look at all of the material readily available at your fingers. It has TONS and TONS and TONS of photographs and the eloquence is... Amazing.

Seriously, you might want to consider INVESTING $70 into such a masterpiece.

It's waiting for you :)

The book is worth it but the fan that he showed is not taught in that book . Those websites are the only places to learn them. Unless if you learn by watching.

Sorry, the link wasn't working for me but now it is and I do see what your talking about. Though, usually, when people refer to the circle fan, I think they mean the ones taught in that book

Regardless, GET THAT BOOK.

Dai Vernon's Ultimate Secrets of Card Magic has a description of a Circle fan, although it's not very detailed.
