I think the best book on the subject is "Patterns of the Hypnotic Techniques of Milton H. Erickson" by John Grinder and Richard W.Bandler. It was written between 1975-77. I consider it the best because it leaves out the unnecessary sensational and unnecessary lies you find in most of the more recent books.
