The performance speed is perfectly ok, provided that it matches his patter and prep-patter before the trick. Saying "the performance needs to be slown (not a word by the way) down. It's too quick," without any reasoning or without knowing how the performer builds up to the effect, is an easy cop out to not really having anything of sufficient value to say.
To the OP - The positioning and prep of each card is great, but perhaps the "bend" is a little overly done prior to the move. Depending on the lighting, the glare can give away the bend in the card.
