    Yeah it really does. I remember learning it (trying to) when I was still perfecting a double. lol

    Haha well things are looking up. Fires are in better control now. Evacuees are given permission to go back to their homes now. Including gparents.

    Ha yeah. I'm still searching for a better price but Penguin's is still cheaper than what's up on Ebay. And you get the free shipping there.

    Haha. I'm actually pretty happy with my pass now. It took a couple years but I use it in performance now. When I was practicing it last year it just didn't click. Just give it time. You can still use other controls. You don't NEED to learn the pass although it's a great move. I still laugh at the fact that a lot of beginners try to learn a pass before any of the basics. I was one of those people. lol

    Thanks man. I'm hoping for the best too. Yeah, we do get a lot of fires here. I think last year there was a huge one where 'The Terminator' (Swarzzeneger [governor]lol) declared some state wide warning. It was pretty bad. Major press. But they always seem to sort these things out.
    Man I haven't been to the snow in years. Tahoe is about the best it gets where I am. It's a good 3 hours away.

    Lol. Reminds me of those crazy @$$ Samurai movies.

    Yep, It's quite the fun road trip. Haha I know I think he just kind of forgets ya know.

    Yeah I was kind of surprised because I thought I had flashed. He said afterward how he was waiting for me to do a pass or something. But yeah, it was a good feeling.

    Yeah he's the one who got me started. I wish I lived closer to him than 9 hours away. When ever I see him he's always like "can you do a double lift?". I'm like "yeah....". lol

    I showed him a short ambitious card sequence using a tenkai palm and fooled him. It was a great feeling. Then he whipped out his "Worlds Greatest Magic: The Ambitious Card" dvd and I was floored when I saw Tommy Wonder's ACR. haha the feeling went away shortly.

    I really want to go down there again(if it's still there). The last time I was there I wasn't really taking advantage of his library. I realize now how valuable those books are and wish I would've understood that sooner.

    Yep. He never went pro but he has a MASSIVE library. Old erdnase copies, AOA, CC, TOOC, the works. I'm kind of freaking out though. There's a big fire where they live and they had to be evacuated. They've already lost a house to a fire before.

    Well it's Roth. I'm sure the material's great. That's good about the teaching and the retention vanish. I need to work on mine.
    Yeah I have but I figure it's for ten bucks for 3 vanishes. That's like a 7th of the Roth set which is 3 DVD's. So idk, I mean they look absolutely beautiful, but I think It'd be better in the long run if I sprung for a set you know?

    Yeah. Well I have Bobo's book (A NECESSITY) and the companion 4dvd set. The set's alright, nothing spectacular. I got it for 40 bucks on ebay, one hell of a good deal. I also have David Stone's basic coin magic vol 1. It's great. Definetly not basic stuff but very good original material.

    I've been working on brushing up on more coin stuff. I've always gone back and forth between cards and coins but I just realized how much I love doing coin magic. lol
