I just saw Blaine on a show this morning, and apparently at the top of the wire he was attached to, there were balloons. So apparently he floated away on balloons. Just figured with all the threads and speculation about it, this could put your mind at ease. Take it or leave it. -ThrallMind

I was so very, very disappointed. I was expecting a tank full of something, fire, spikes... ...I even thought he dropped down at first hanging himself. But, instead, he was pulled up by something. I wonder if the dive was one giant joke, or if something went wrong? I think he was supposed...

Or...you could make them reappear using something like a spin change or shapeshifter ;P It's not really a trick I would have as part of a routine or set. Id more just carry the card in the box and be ready to do it in the event a trick I am doing messes up. It's a very nice "out."...

No. A hobbyist doesn't really make any money off his hobby, and most definitely does not get his main source of income from it, whereas an artist more than likely does. I would also say an Artist creates, whereas a hobbyist may just use other peoples material. -ThrallMind

I disagree. I think if you have the skill of, lets say, Aaron Fisher but you don't make a living with it, you are a Hobbyist. While the term Amateur itself means one who does something as a pastime, I think in magic it more relates to your level or skill and understanding. Just my .02...
