    Bottom Deal problems?

It is very rare for one grip to work for you immediately. It took me about a year of practice and experimentation with dozens of different techniques to find a grip that worked for me. If you are serious about bottom dealing you will probably end up constantly refining it throughout the years...

Discreetly pulling from the bottom of the deck

You could do a side steal.

From shuffled deck to new deck order

I think you'd be better off with a cooler and some false shuffles... Less work.

    Seconds and Bottoms

Hi, Thank you. I learned the seconds from watching Mr. Z and several other guys and from Expert Card Technique. However, I don't do them the way ECT recommends, or the way that Z does them. ECT, along with many other printed sources, recommends pushing the two cards off in an "arc" using the...

Erdnase Stock Shuffling/ Revelations vs. Annotated

Do not use Erdnase's Stacking system. Use the ones out of ECT instead. Its easier to do and remember. By the way, as far as I am concerned, there is no such thing as a deceptive out-jog. Although it will fool most laymen, don't try it at a card table. You should try to use the ECT system but...

    Card cheating

Not really. It doesn't look rushed, which is what matters. He has about the speed of a casino dealer. To each his own, though. I think that pace looks good in his hands. He never breaks rhythym.

    Card cheating

Eostresh, Just so you know, in some cases it doesn't matter if you can hear a bottom. Tegib's video is an example. He is sailing his tops and dealing bottoms straight to the table, so the cards dealt straight to the table can and usually do sound differently, whether they are tops or not. In...

    Good Gambling Routines?

I second Unclemings' recommendations and would also like to recommend Buckley's card control. It has great routines and moves in the Conjuring at the Card Table section that, for some reason, seem to be overlooked. As an added bonus most of the routines in there are relatively simple.

    Erdnase

Yes, he calls it "Legerdemain", which basically means "Sleight of Hand".

    Erdnase bottom deal

Well, I would need to know more about your game. However, any and every move "can" be used. It comes down to judgement in the end. Obviously, if there is a cutcard of some sort it can't be used. Another problem is that you did it with half of a deck (or maybe it was 3/4 of a deck). You need to...

    Erdnase bottom deal

I suggest not using this as your primary bottom deal because of the loosening action of the finger. There is simply no way to get rid of it. As Jason England says: "It is a great place to start, but not a great place to end." However, if you choose to stick with it: 1. Work on the rhythm. You...

    Strike second deal

Very nice, tegib. Scarne was known for lifting his thumb, and I remember Steve Forte doing it in 52 somewhere. I think Jack Carpenter does it also, but I think you already know that :)
