Tricks that you REFUSE to use

I avoid anything that can cause permanent damage from my body. Biokinesis and Thread (non-palmed version) both look amazing but I don't want to risk permanently damaging my body.

    Paul Harris Little Man

It was released but many critics complained that the $300 price tag was too high for this effect. It looks really cool. I might have to pick it up.

    Rubber band tricks/routines?

My rubber band routine consists of Stairway by Marcus Eddie, Linking Rubber Bands, Crazy Man Handcuffs, Drop It by Jibrizy, Steadfast by Lloyd Barnes, and I close with Touch. What's great about this routine is that it only utilizes rubber bands and common household objects so you can perform it...

    Thoughts on thoughts

I watched a discussion similar to this topic on YouTube and they were discussing the issue with being labeled as a "magician" since there is such a negative stigma behind it. I have seen this personally when I was performing and someone rolled their eyes when they heard there was "a guy who does...

Invisible Card by Blake Vogt Review

Hey everyone! I decided to review the Invisible Card by Blake Vogt and review it in a video. I have also included a live performance demonstration at a small performance I did at a dining hall at my university. Please excuse the the lack of professionalism of this video. I had been filming an...

    Was Ellen in on this?

Well when I go on television to perform this I'd rather not wear a thumb tip because I want the effects to be as clean and examinable as possible and HD cameras can definitely pick up a thumb tip discrepancy. It's okay because I think I just came up with my own method of building one. Now I...

    Was Ellen in on this?

I caught the part where he switched it with the Linking Lifesavers gimmick but I'm not sure on how he constructed two lifesavers together to be examined where they can be tasted and pulled on.

    Was Ellen in on this?

I have the linking lifesavers and I know how the effect is done. I have concluded that Ellen must have been in on the trick at 2:12 in this video I don't think it's possible to have a spectator tug on the linked lifesavers without them realizing how it's done and ruining the effect. Another...

    Magic For Shirt Pocket

My everyday carry around consists of three rubber bands around my wrist and the Invisible Card in my pocket. This allows me to go through several different routines just with the rubber bands alone. You typically only need two rubber bands but they break eventually so I carry a spare just in case.

    Best card transport tricks?

Angle Z should work anywhere you want the torn piece to appear. I have an effect I'm working where their signed card is shuffled by the spectator into the deck and then it appears anywhere I want it to including their own pockets without me having to touch the deck. There is also some pretty...

    Some tricks I've created

Even if the concept isn't "original", the point of learning effects is to make them your own anyways. So even if these effects have already been created (a few of them I did recognize), I think it's fair game to use them in a performance since you have made them your own by adapting them to your...

    One-on-one session

I would pick either Blake Vogt, Dan White, or Dan Sperry. I feel like their styles compliment mine and I would appreciate any sort of advice they could give me.

At what age u started learning card magic??

I started when I was 20 as well! I feel like such an outcast because most people started when they were in their early teens. It's nice to see another magician that started "later" in life.
