    Truly Magical Color Changes

Thanks! I'd heard that before but wasn't sure the history. I'll check these out. (on a off topic note: this was an interesting read for those who haven't heard this before http://m.sfexaminer.com/sanfrancisco/notorious-crooks-who-was-erdnase/Content?oid=2931064) On topic, I like the ego change...

    Truly Magical Color Changes

out of curiosity, where did you hear this name? Are you referring to the first method of the two handed transformations in Expert at the Card Table?

    Favourite tricks to teach spectators

I think there is a time and a place for this sort of thing. For the most part if you explain things, it destroys the enjoyment for them. Most of the time I perform another trick that makes them think they will learn something and they they end up being entertained by more magic instead. My...

Online magic and High quality effects: The Good and The Bad

I wouldn't use the word integrity so much as respect for magic as an art or craft. Jason loves this stuff. You can see his heart and love for it when you talk to him. Things you love, cherish, and deeply respect, you make sure they are taken care of, treated with care, and you would defend them...

Elastic shell for a shot glass

I'm not sure what you mean exactly by shell. Do you mean like the picture below, but for shot glass? What is the purpose? And how elasticy does it need to be?

    Invigorating Our Magic Performance Culture

I absolutely agree that magic is theatre. The fourth wall aspect represents only a portion of theatre- not a defining aspect of what theatre is. However, with regards to the semantics, the term ‘performance art’ is probably a more understood term for those not in the theatre world. That said...

Need to impress my fellow magician friend

Well articulated Teedee. I'm working on a challenge to fool a friend of mine (his challenge to me). He has an open of what to watch for. Basically the routine involves a bunch of rabbit trails: a pass to make him think the card is on top, false palming a card to my pocket, and a double lift...

    David's Blaine Bill illusion! Help!

We can't expose the method, but someone may be able to point you to a resource. I know Jay Sankey had an effect like this on one of his beginner dvds

    magician foolers

Great advice here. I think it was Eric Mead who joked if you want a trick to fool Magicians, perform an effect from a book. lol

    A card prediction effect search

Sounds like some sort of confabulation idea. As well it could very well be a principle taught in Corinda's 13 Steps

    Help! The Invisible Deck

Absolutely worth the money. Though I don't use it often for a while I had it in a clear box on stage during my show ready as a backup (I had someone lie (forget?) What their card was, so I used the ID as a backup if they named a different card.
