    Is this an original idea?

Good creativity and thinking, but I don't think it is too marketable. It sounds like the reverse of the Anniversary Waltz (where two signatures come together on a single card). That being said, I'm not familiar with a plot exactly like that. However, the method seems really obvious to me...

What to do when someone approaches you for tricks

@ChristopherT makes good points. All I have to add is that you should develop a couple of sets of tricks you can perform in that instance. As a beginner, any performance for people makes you better. So have some tried and true effects to perform and then you can add in new effects as you...

    Useless Invisible Decks

Rob: It's not uncommon that the decks are too sticky. All you need to do is to take each pair between your thumb and first finger and rub the cards against each other. Do that for 10 seconds per pair of cards and see if it makes an improvement. There are also some handling techniques that...

    Illusion books

Mark Wilson's Complete Course is really the book to start with if you don't have a background in magic. Along with a lot of great magic, there are some make at home props and some stage illusions. For the price, you can't go wrong. From there there are four options. One is the least...

Close-up magician...what to perform on stage?

Invisible Deck - Put the deck in a lunch bag on stage. The presentation is about how you like to read the last chapter of a book so you know how it ends. Put the invisible deck in a brown lunch bag that you introduce at the beginning of the effect and explain that you know how the impromptu...

    Classic Pass Questions

What control you use is dependent on the performance situation and the design of the effect. You seem to understand that. My issue is because a lot of folks view the pass as the only control you need to know and therefore apply it in most situations. Typically, I can't see most people's...

Book to get after royal road?

Another vote for Expert Card Technique. Other options include Scarne on Card Trick, Encyclopedia of Card Tricks, Card Control, the Magic of LePaul and Count Cuts Moves & Subtleties.

    Card trick routine for beginner

I think you have it backwards. Find effects that you like and THEN figure out the order. Read Royal Road cover to cover to figure out which effects you like, practice them and perform them. You will learn a lot doing that. That is most likely a result of poor technique or a lack of...

    Name of this routine?

As with anything like that, if you know the fundamentals and have a general knowledge of a variety of effect, you can come up with multiple methods. If Christopher's hint isn't enough, go back to the basics and figure out your own method. Be original, not a copy.

    Name of this drawing duplication?

We really don't expose magician's performances by telling folks how to figure it out by giving names. Enjoy the mystery.

    Classic Pass Questions

Out of curiosity, how many other controls do you know? The more controls you know, the less likely you will use a pass. The best control for any effect depends on the context of the effect. Most of those actions are justified as having the card further lost in the deck. A placement in the...

    Classic Pass Questions

My advice is to spend your time learning other sleights that are more useful than the classic pass. I know of very few routines that actually use the classic pass.

    Card trick routine for beginner

YouTube isn't the best place to learn magic. Most of the teaching reflects poor fundamentals. Royal Road is a great book with a lot of great effects. Also check out Scarne on Card Tricks - a lot of powerful magic without significant sleight of hand. If you can afford it, get Roberto...

    Public Domain

Just because it is public domain, that doesn't mean that it is freely available on the internet. A lot of the stuff at Lybrary.com or Conjuring Arts that is for sale is public domain, but just not free. A lot of the Dover books are reprints of public domain material.

Stripper Deck Bicycle (Blue) by US Playing Card- Is it Marked & Stripped?

I'm not aware of any marked stripper decks in Bicycle Rider Back or other popular backs. There is one for Black NOC deck. So your choices are to get a marked deck and trim it so it is a stripper or to get a stripper deck and mark it (as @Maaz Hasan suggested). A great book on marked decks is...
