    Wow, not bad for a 1 or 2 months, however, I agreed with jake the snake magic. Clip shift takes a large amount of time to perform silently. I, have been performing clip shift at least about 8 months now and is not near perfect yet. I suggest you to keep practising it.

    Is flourishing necessary in Card Magic?

    I think card flourishing is very impressive to laymen to show off your skills. However, use it when you are controlling their selection to the top or to the bottom on your performance. If you are a cardistry lover, it's really up to you to desire to learn more, but not for card magic.

    I would have to say Royal Road to Card Magic, Expert Card Technique, The Paper Engine and Card Controls are must get books. For dvds, I would have to say The Trilogy including andthensome by the Buck twins and d+M materials as well.
