    New name for all this!

How about, "Omnipotent Card Master and Commander" :D also, i agree that if a bunch of DVDs come out with the name "cardistry" or whatever then THAT name will start being taken seriously and used by more people. But it's still not gonig to work to call yourself a "Cardiste" on your business...

    Decknique

um, wild guess, mr. J? heh I don't know I never met the guy. I think random people just hate my guts, for some reason a dude on decknique named "godbowen" pretty much just exclusively posts negative stuff about me :( its kind of creepy he wrote "I'm a trashmanf hunter" anyways, if I turn...

    Amazing XCM Artists.

Yeah, my cousin Vinny spells his name that way. ;) no seriously this video was just bad, they basically copied the virts, which was a terrible decision because in the same context as the Virts, it's obvious that they just got skooled HARD. and their editing was so epileptic I thought...

    New name for all this!

UEZ made some good points near the end there. Basically, the only thing "cardistry" has going for it Richard's opinion and whomever chooses to follow it. who lets face it has done a lot to advance the term, with his own website, and later when his website got bought, onto theory 11. But...

    What's new about Digital Dissolve?

i have a question are ANY of the theory 11 one-trick DVD gimmicks original? I mean,i'm sure the routines are slightly new like they have slightly different handlings or whatever, but are any of the gimmicks original? I have heard the coins, the changing "sliding card", and the panic...

How long have you been flourishing?

    long enough to know better

    What's new about Digital Dissolve?

well this just blows the hype right out. I made a post about how theory 11 copied other's work and claimed it as their own "revolutionary, underground magic" and a moderator immediately deleted it. He said it was because what I wrote was untrue, but now that it's been proven that it IS true, I...

    Decknique

I agree with the monkey, all theory 11 n00bs should go to www.decknique.net and read through the YEARS of good informative posts. You will learn so much and start much less n00b threads here. although because it's theory 11 there will probably still be lots of threads like "what flourish...

    Double One Hand Card Fan

If I could rep you I would Vinnie. I could honestly care less whether or not an audience member is going to be excited about my move. if I cared about that i would just do a hotshot cut and a card spring. the thing that attracted me to card manipulation was the extremely high level of...

    Ulmen?

I wish they would publish what all the trials are, not just the first nine or whatever, I think then more people would practice and maybe compete in them. also i think some of the parts are kind of harsh, like having to do water elementals in a freezing cold lake, sounds like a recipe for...

    Double One Hand Card Fan

I guess I wasn't clear what you're talking about - when you say one-handed riffle shuffle weave do you mean on the table? If you were talking about the in-the-hands weave... which I guess you're probably not... Anyhoo, it's not harder at all to slightly offset the halfs, all this indicates...

    Some Fanz

these fans were hella good. only wish you could have done them without an edit to every shot, but the actual fans were bomb, so 4/5 from me dogg

Hey Bizzaro, love your articles, I would like you to write one about theory 11 !

    Double One Hand Card Fan

probably a carnahan fan? flipback fan? smear fan? lol unknownenemazero, I was referring to doing a completely one handed giant fan. Yes you need a perfect in the hands weave to make a perfect giant fan. and they look great faces out (as long as you offset the deck) as well as backs...

    Double One Hand Card Fan

Oh I fully agree that less than 1% of flourishers will take the time to become proficient enough to make a perfect one-handed weave... and only a fraction of those would be willing to put in the practice to perform the strip-out (or whatever you call pushing two faro'd halfs through each other)...

    Ulmen?

oh I agree with you in some ways, but when dance writes "A grown man that spent 40 years of he's life playing with cards and ,and calls himeself an ARTIST..." I take cards seriously and I think dancedany does too. It's extremely hypocritical to denigrate someone for taking the art...

    September Jam

meh, it looked very good graphically (great camera and editing work, very hi res video) but the content seemed lackluster, the cuts were performed slowly and didn't look original to me. I mean they might have been new variations or something but it didn't seem like any sort of new concept or...

    Double One Hand Card Fan

By definition, a one handed giant fan is not two fans ;) just one big fan. Also, the one-handed giant fan IS possible with one hand from start to finish, it's just extremely difficult (see Jerry's companion DVDs, on www.flourishman.com, it is in the 2nd volume, "fanning", obviously)

    Ulmen?

I thought Ciappi completed the Ulmen Trials? There was a video on De'vos site with him explaining how difficult they were (But easy for him lol) Also, why would the Ulmen 4 themselves not be capable of completing the trials... I mean, they made them, I assume they can DO them. Also...
