If you are looking for a good DVD, might I recomend Pyrotechnic Pasteboards by Gregory Wilson? It would go really good for the stuff that you want to do, if you're into cards.

Disintegration would be a very good trick to do. I'm sure that if you were to present it in a "spooky" way, you could get some killer reactions. It's great, I highly recomend it.
