    Lie Detector

This is a variation on a routine I saw Aldo Colombini perform, credited to Peter Duffie. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FVe5UrxFuA4 Hope you enjoy it! Constructive criticism is welcome.

    Small Stage Sandwich

Thank you everybody. As for the presentation, I have been trying to think of another one, if you have any ideas let me know.

    Favourite Control?

Lee Asher's Losing Control deserves so much more recognition than it has, it's hands down the best control for real life situations, there's simply no competition.

    Rising Card - Ungimmicked

Does the method differ from Matt Gardner's/Lin Searles' Inflated Deck Principle, used in Cheng's Rise on True Astonishments Disc 2? Edit: Nevermind, just noticed someone else posted this as I was typing it.

    Good DVDs

I think your underestimating the amount of material on the True Astonishment DVD's. There is so much material on them they should keep you busy for years, so I wouldn't worry about buying anything else yet.

    Routine this, close that

I don't know if you use gimmicks, personally I don't, but if you do I think Panic would fit your situation, you could take the deck into your pocket and say we will try something with just the 4 aces, then "change your mind" and come back out with the gimmick, and it will seem like nothings...

    Bill Goodwin?

He has many notes: Up In Smoke At The Expense Of Grey Matter Lecture 1988 Notes From The Batcave Picking The Carcass Clean The Ancient Empty Street Unfortunately they are all very hard to get hold of. Your best bet for Bill Goodwin material is Penumbra.

    Invisible Palm

Larry Jennings Classic Magic, and Paul Harris' Art Of Astonishment are both great places to learn the routine, although there are countless different methods and variations. There's a great post over at the magic cafe listing many of the main variations, the creators, and where they're...

    Invisible Palm

Thanks guys! The final vanish I created independently and I'm unsure if it's published, if anyone knows I'd be interested. The other 2 vanishes are just the standard Tent Vanish. The palms are also different to Larry's original routine. The second palm is common and most certainly in...

    About the Losing Control...

It's my favourite control of all time, so simple yet so deceptive. I use the basic version, but I leave a small space between the packets, so they can clearly see the card but Its not out-jogged. I usually use this control in conjunction with Clipshift, a great little effect when someone wants...

    andthensome double lifts

Going back to the original question, there are 7 items on the DVD regarding doubles. 1. A spread double lift - used in Portal. 2. Orbit - aerial double used in Encore. 3. Ginastaire double - from Sleightly Magical. 4. Spinning Top - Double spins on the deck. 5. Spinning Table Top - Double...

    Stealing from a Sandwich

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HcOzeMre0Ns "Transfert" by Arnaud Chevrier. Done with 4 sandwiching cards but it can also be achieved with just 2.

Looking for sources on this plot: Spectator selects the aces.

Ray Kosby's "Impossible Card Magic" probably has the cleanest, most direct version of this effect, but it is very difficult. Its called "Freedom Of Choice".

    Baaah

It is the "Centre Double" from the 3rd disc of "The Trilogy", the double your thinking of, used in "Tivo 2.0", is simply referred to as "A double lift from the centre".
