Hi. Maybe it's the way you present yourself. Some magicians seem to turn into different people when they perform a trick, they get all mysterious and magiciany. If that's the case, try to stay natural and be yourself. But I've never really heard that question myself as far as I can remember...

I don't really like designed decks. + I have yet to find an E deck that I like. My favorite decks would be Arrco's, Tally's and regular Bikes.

Just yesterday I watched some parts of Blaine's Street Magic DVD again. And I was amazed how he played the ACR. The guys were totally freaking out at the standard, easy, sleights. It's all in the presentation..

Alright man I'll try to give you some tips: 1. Someone already mentioned, it's not a webcam session. Borrow yourself a good cam, find a nice place with good lighting(!) and your video will improve automatically. It just seems so boring and unmotivated watching something like that (no offense)...

I like both, for flourishing: Circle Back Tallys for magic: Red Bikes But I love alot of other cards too, like Arrco's (!) and Vintage Bikes.

If I ever get good enough to need a calling-card, I think I'd design a playing card, maybe a mini-playing card, and get them printed somewhere.

I like most card tricks that can be done with a borrowed deck. I'm not into tricks with lots of preparation, only a few cards, gaffs or gimmicks. Or other magic other than cardmagic for that matter. Basically I like "pick a card" tricks. Oh and I like it when they're not fixed to a special...

I don't perform much yet. And the last 2 times I did perform a trick, the spec reached into my performance and turned a card on the table, that, of course, wasn't theirs :/ I could kill when people do that. But I guess I won't be using "Look I'll put your card here on the table" any more.

I keep my jokers because 1. I just like them 2. I do a few tricks using them 3. If you, for example, want to do a color change, and you double lift to a joker by accident, you can improvise awesomly like "You know how jokers are actually wild cards in most card-games, well watch this.." :) cheers

I "sort of started" in summer last year, but I didn't have any material to learn from and I didn't really know what I was doing. I think it was about december-january when I really started flourishing.
