Saturday Night Contest - Fool Us!

Here is a video of my handling of a classic effect. Those who know the original handling/method will be fooled. Things to keep in mind: This handling can be done live, standing or seated.....sleeveless. With that criteria, be fooled. http://media.theory11.com/2245-theMINT The responses to...

    Criss Angel Vs Wayne Houchin

Have you read either of my posts? This shouldn't be about kids exposing his illusions, or what his methods are. We all have methods I am sure normal audiences would also feel is somewhat underhanded or cheating. Read my posts again. Chris Angel himself went on national tv and exposed a classic...

    Criss Angel Vs Wayne Houchin

Does every stage magician go on tv, hide his face and expose a classic illusion? Let me make myself clear, I don't hate Chris Angel -- I don't know him. I'm sure he is a nice guy. I simply do not respect him as a magician or performer. He sold out early in his career. Read my post earlier in...

    Criss Angel Vs Wayne Houchin

Here is a reason big enough to count as the 10 reasons you asked for. Years before the well known "Masked Magician" had his tv shows, there was a show in the very early 90's called "Secrets Revealed". It was a show about all sorts of secrets, not just magic. For the segment on magic, they...

    Totally out of control Dvd's

Another thing to note; That would be 50 hours of raw footage, which they would then edit down to something much shorter. For example, I just shot a DVD with a New York magician, which got almost 6 hours of footage, but actual running time will be about 3.5 hours.

    Needles

I was not trying to disrespect you, I apologize. Just expressing my views of how this type of effect should be presented. Do what fits your style and works best for you. Here is a pro also speaking about this type of effect, in an excerpt from Urban Legend. Rather, he is speaking of the...

    Needles

Not necessarily in every case. If presented as a trick, then by all means stuff as many as you want in there. But presented as a more realistic feat, do less. Think about it, if you could actually do it, does it seem more believable that you can do 10 or 15, or 25+? Ask yourself if you want...

How many people would buy this effect?

One possible solution to make the ace make sense: Have two cards chosen by one spectator (the ace and an indifferent card), or two spectators, one choose the indifferent card while the other chooses the ace.

    Rubber Band Magic

Oh do you mean from that brand new DVD that came out only 4 days ago? You're right, I haven't seen the explanation yet. I released Phantom Band 360 in 2006. In its 4 years of time, you obviously haven't seen it yet. While Stairway is a great effect, each of these effects offer different...

    The Oops! Deck

Mr. Henderson, I must say, you are incorrect. Bill Pryor's effect is named "Oops", with no mention of a deck. After reading its description, it is completely different in every way. It is a single effect, where as The Oops! Deck is not an effect, but rather a deck of cards. But, with...

    Razor Blade Illusion Trick

This effect is designed to look as real as possible. So, if you were really doing this, would you stick 10-15 blades in and string them together, or would it be more believable if you were able to do a few. You also have to ask yourself, if you could do this, would you need a wooden...
