I've been doing card magic for nearly a year now and I've recently become a bit discouraged. I follow Ellusionist, T11, D&D, and The Blue Crown continuously and have learnt a good amount of sleights, routines, and flourishes. I know nearly all the basics. Card controls, shuffles, cuts, general...

Honestly, I have never dropped more cards than when I was learning that flourish. My best advice is just to keep doing it. It's a move that depends entirely on your hand strength and the flexibility of the cards. Find what works for you and modify your method until you find what's comfortable.
