Decoy is a cool way to perform the diminishing deck but you need to be able to handle the angles perfectly or they will see the gimmick. Its good on camera but probably not live. Hope this helps!

Do the spring and have your other hand ready to catch the spring in straddle grip. So, you do the spring and the cards land on your other hand and then you hold them in straddle grip.

You can use any finger you want except your pinkie to size. As long as it fits use that size.
