Hey gang,

This is a post to ask a question... I have literally been in the same room for the past 10+ years practicing mostly one move Up The Ladder. And my question is this I look at other people's up the ladder and find fault with it, mostly because they haven't done it as long as I. I was wondering if maybe it's just that I am too critical and that maybe they find fault with mine , after all we are human. I want to get to the point where mine is so precise that it seems that it's sloppy but it's controlled. Any thoughts? Here is a milestone video for you to judge and see what I am talking about.

Thanks for insights.

a lot of the times when i would watch someones moves i would always find fault with it, but that was because i was looking at it with the eyes of a magician and not a laymen example i used to hate the the zarrow shuffle because when ever is see it i can immediately spot what it is but then i realized it would completely fly by laymen because they have no clue it was a false shuffle, as for your video your up the ladder looks really good i do also like the idea of it looking sloppy and controlled.

Thanks I practice a lot. I understand that I could have stopped ages ago and it still would have flown past even people with some knowledge of cards. But I am looking for absolute virtuosity which doesn't come cheap. I can do a Zarrrow but it's not perfect like Steve Reynolds.

I love the sloppiness of it, my only opinion is maybe slow it down a tad. Moving too fast, to laymen, doesn't look as natural as it could. But definitely keep it sloppy! That being said, all your hard work shows! You are fantastic at it! Well done!

Thanks A LOT of people have told me to slow down. I happen to find the move cool when done really fast. With that being said I think I will start adopting a moderate speed. Slow is smooth, smooth is fast. Thanks for the kind words again.
