Awesomeness & A Terrible Pun

Yesterday I got to this dolphinarium over here because I heard this awesome magician was going to be there to do some street magic. It was soooo awesome!!!

Two things that really stood out to me, other than the amazing entertainment value and the tricks he did:

I guess all of you know the card-to-pocket-which-isn't-there thing ("It's in my pocket. And I don't even have a pocket") don't you? Anyhow, this guy did that without saying that he didn't have a pocket, then repeated it and when he said he didn't have a pocket this time the audience freaked out like: "OMFG, WHERE DID THE FRIGGING POCKET GOOOO?!?!?". XD

Some tricks later he got some brand new deck out of his pocket, handed it to this American tourist and spectator, and gave instructions. (I'll try to quote it as literally as possible, but it basically is the same):
"Please get rid of the cellophane." *spectator unwraps the box*
"Now, in order to open the box you got to break the seal." *spectator is about to break the seal. In the meantime, the magician makes a club appear out of nowhere, takes the box out of the guy's hands, hands him the club, and looks at the common seals next to where he was performing (remember, it was at a dolphinarium, and yes, they keep seals too).*

I totally didn't expect it!! And I just had to share this with you guys.

It's a pun based on the word "seal".
Of course a seal could be:

But also:

So to "break a seal" could mean "breaking the seal so we can get the cards out of the box" or "clubbing the seal so we can make a nice coat of its pelt". That's why I called it a terrible pun.

And it was completely based on just the pun too. The magician soon took the club again, handed the guy the box again, made him open it and choose and sign a card, and then the magician used the club and some magic to find the selection.

beautiful pun. I thought of the pun of the seal and realized it was real club, just never made a connection. HAH!

Haha, it certainly was! And it worked very well for those who were there. One reason to admire the guy because I can assure you that most magicians would've failed doing the two things I described in the first post.
