does any one use these . they are alot cheeper than morgans on jamies school craft . i was wondering before i commit to buy are they just as good to use .

If you mean Barber halves, I believe they are excellent coins. They are very soft and almost make no noise rubbed or handled together. The edges are very smooth, almost no grip to them but that doenst bother much. I got mine from schoolcraft a couple years ago and they are just as good as gold. Just remember to take care of them. And if you get a shell, take care not to damage it. Barber shells ding very easily.

Bear in mind that a Barber half is a lot smaller than a Morgan dollar, so the melt value is far less (hence the price difference).
