Heya I have a standard half dollar shell that I got at my local magic shop for about 35$. It has been working fine but the problem is it is noisy sometimes and my friend suggested to get a more expensive and better quality shell that will be more quiet. The problem is I don't really know where to start looking as in what type should I be on the magical hunt for. Can someone point me in the right direction for a good quality and quiet half dollar shell?

I agree with Daniel I just got my new JSchoolcraft coins and they are awesome. He does a great job and is a wonderful person to boot. He drove 20 miles to meet me to make the delivery since he was local and I was in desperate need of replacements for my old. His new website is http://www.coingaffs.com

I just got Deans Set Gravity Flipper Walking Liberty and 3CF Walking Liberty they are very nice. He is very personable and willing to work with you.

You can't beat Todd Lassen. I have coins from just about every maker, and none are equal in quality!

Check out his blog (linked above) and look for the post with the Peruvian coins. They are very nice looking and handling coins that are the same size as a half dollar. Four coins and a shell are only $51-$59! They're not silver, but you can't beat that!!

Todd does ship internationally, but you need to realize he might take a little bit of time to respond. He receives hundreds of emails, and between making coins and his normal life, it's hard to get to them all.

You can also call him; his phone number is on his website.

I like Jamie Schoolcraft coingaffs.com he does excellent work an is very respected by many. He went out of his way twice to make sure I had a repair and a new Dean set for a gig that popped up.

Check out his website an work and best of luck!
