Well, the book Mnemonica is probably a pretty good place to start.
But if you don't want to do that, you can pick up Jamie D Grant's Scenic 52 - which teaches you how to memorize a deck in under 60 seconds, and while learning how to do that, teaches you the Mnemonica stack (with permission from Tamariz)
