I've seen monarchs with a black back instead of blue, they aren't the NYSM2 Edition as the box was black & gold instead of blue. Now I may just be going crazy but for the life of me I cant find where to buy these.

Black backed Monarchs?

The ONLY legitimate black-backed Monarchs are the NYSM2 Edition Monarchs. We are the only company that can print Monarchs, and we have never printed a deck of black-backed Monarchs prior to the NYSM2 edition.
Monarch decks you find that are black-backed but not NYSM2 edition are either photoshopped or counterfeit. Also note - the navy blue we use can be confused for black if someone is not looking closely. Someone may have a navy deck and mistakenly label it as black.

Considering I saw the deck in person, that's a very unfortunate thing to hear. Espicially since everything from the seal to the add cards had your name on them. Thank you for the quick reply, and I'm sorry to hear that there's people stealing your awesome name and designs.
