Books/Resources on Trick Decks?

Hi all,

I wanted to know if there are any books/resources to learn more about trick decks, such as the stripper, mirage, invisible, and Svengali decks? I still am quite new to magic, so any information is greatly appreciated? (And I know that many advise reading magic books that teach sleights using a regular deck of cards first, which I am currently on chapter 5 of so of Royal Road to Card Magic, however, I know that some feats are only possible with a gimmicked deck of cards, and I would like to learn as much as possible about that as well )

Great question. There is a FANTASTIC book called A new Angle by Ryan Plunkett and Michael Feldman. This book is a bible on the usage of a stripper deck. Some of the best magician-foolers out there.

I second encyclopedia of card tricks as a great general reference and it has sections on all of the classic trick decks.

If you're interested in a particular and not very well known kind of gimmicked deck, Jason England has a video on the n-stripper here at T11:

The trailer is a little over the top, but the system has some advantages over more common stripping systems. Plus, if you get the handling down well, you'll be sure to fool even most magicians with it.
